The Buranda P&C meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:15pm at the school.

New members are welcome to attend, and lend a hand for the benefit of the school community.

The P&C Association is a group of members from the school community working together for the benefit of the school. The P&C is a forum where the school community can discuss their values, hopes and ideals for the school.

Specifically, the function of the P&C is:

  • To provide advice and recommendations to the principal on issues and concerns in respect to the student body and the general operations and management of the school.
  • To provide or assist in the provision of financial or other resources or services for the benefit of students of the school.

At Buranda State School the P&C has been involved in fundraising activities to provide for the Environmental Education Program, as well as sport, music and other school activities.
